Bloggers

Grade 3 - 6 Bloggers

Your blogs are due this Friday!

Remember that you are responsible for everything on your blog.

There should be no videos* on your blog!
If you have some on there now, remove them before Friday.

Now is the time to add the finishing touches to your work. Make sure that you have at least the minimum number of posts on your blog. Also remember that your blog is only one part of your final IT mark. Following directions, work effort and general attitude all count, so do your best work at all times.

M'kay?

Don't forget to review the checklist if you forget what you have to do!

*You cannot control which YouTube videos will appear on your blog. You also cannot control which links are attached to YouTube videos. In order to keep your blog appropriate for school, videos are not allowed.

Wordies

Grade 1 - 3 Wordies

Letters to home need to keep moving along.

It's time to start thinking about what you are going to write about.

SECTION 1

First type in your your TEL email account, which is your firstname.lastname

Next, type in the word verification. It is hard to see this clearly, so try your best. If you are not sure what the word is, ask Mr. Ball for help!

Next, click in the box beside Acceptance of Terms. Then click on Continue. Sometimes when you make a mistake, you might have to enter some information again before you can continue. Don't get upset if this happens.

SECTION 2

Give your blog a name in the Blog title box. Remember that you can name it whatever you want.

Blog address.
This is where you will enter the blogspot address that you would like. Type in your first choice and click on Check Availability. If it is not available, go to your second choice. If that is not available, go to your third choice, etc. Remember that you are only entering the information that comes BEFORE .blogspot.com (like froggybloggy, theponyblog, trinifood, etc). Once you have chosen an address that is available, click on Continue.

Remember that your blog has to look good, so make appropriate choices here as well.
