Grade 2
Your task this week is to draw and label an information page for Simple Machines. Make sure that your page shows all seven simple machines, and that each machine is labeled. You can do it!

Grade 4
Your task this week is to begin creating your personal blog. You will be using Microsoft Word and clip art to find images that you would like to use. You will be pasting these images into Word and saving them for later use. You must make sure that all images are relevant to your blog topic. Don't choose a picture of an office building if your blog is about farming. Get it?
Grade 5
Your task this week is to use Microsoft Word to begin your planning for your personal blog. You must list the following items:
1. Blog name
2. Blog address (The blogspot address that you want may or may not be available to you when you publish your blog, so it is a good idea to think of several different addresses that you would like)
3. Blog description (Think of the 5Ws : 1. What is it about? 2. Who is it for? 3. When was the blog made? 4. Why did you make this blog? 5. Where are you or your blog readers located?)
4. Elements of your blog (What will be on your blog? Will you have a lot of text? A lot of pictures? Will you allow comments? What colours will you use?)
This information will be used in the publishing of your blog. Think about it carefully! Once your blog goes online, it is there for the entire world to see, so make good choices about what you want to publish!
Grade 6
Your task this week is to use Microsoft Word and Google to begin your planning for your personal blog. You will be searching for information using Boolean search methods (ie Canada AND natural resources, Lobsters OR fishing).
You must list the following items in Word:
