Grade 3

Your task this week is to continue to use Microsoft Word and ClipArt in your planning for your personal blog. You must list the following items:

1. Blog name

2. Blog description (Think of the 5Ws : 1. What is it about? 2. Who is it for? 3. When was the blog made? 4. Why did you make this blog? 5. Where are you or your blog readers located?)

3. Blog address (The blogspot address that you want may or may not be available to you when you publish your blog, so it is a good idea to think of several different addresses that you would like)

4. Elements of your blog (What will be on your blog? Will you have a lot of text? A lot of pictures? Will you allow comments? What colours will you use?)

You must show Mr. Ball all of your work before you add any images.

5. Clip Art (What images will you use in ClipArt to add to your blog? Remember to use images that are appropriate for your topic. If you are doing the Pony Blog, don't choose pictures of frogs!) When you have finished using ClipArt you may then search Creative Commons.

This information will be used in the publishing of your blog. Think about it carefully! Once your blog goes online, it is there for the entire world to see, so make good choices about what you want to publish!
